Photomodulation against stretch marks

To reduce the effects of stretch marks on the skin, science offers different solutions : anti-stretch mark creams, peeling and dermabrasion, cosmetic surgery, laser but also LED photomodulation (or luminostimulation ).

LED photomodulation, or luminostimulation

LED photomodulation, also called luminostimulation or chromostimulation, is an innovative process that shows good results in the treatment of stretch marks. Photomodulation (or chromostimulation) is a treatment using diode light (LED) to stimulate the production of elastic fibers in the skin (collagen and elastin) and thus reduce stretch marks.

Photomodulation : light to eliminate stretch marks

Photomodulation (luminostimulation or chromostimulation) projects a red-orange light directly onto the area affected by les vergetures. It is a form of light therapy.

This light emitted by LEDs stimulates the production of collagen and elastin essential for the elasticity of the skin.

In addition, photomodulation improves blood circulation and participates in the restructuring of the skin. After a treatment, the general quality of the skin is improved.

Note : Unlike treatment such as laser or peeling, LED photomodulation is a natural treatment that does not attack the skin.

Light stimulation (or photomodulation) treatment is effective on all types of stretch marks :

Several photomodulation sessions required

The results of LED chromostimulation (or photomodulation) are visible from the first session but are not lasting.

How it works ?

The penetration of the rays of light, emitted by the LED lamp, into the different layers of the skin, depends on their wavelength, that is to say their color. There are 4 colors: red, blue, yellow and green. Depending on the color chosen and its intensity, the light penetrates the skin and acts directly on the cells by stimulating their collagen and elastin fiber synthesis activities.

Photons of red light: wavelength of 630 nm.
