The Reanibex 200 semi-automatic external defibrillator is an extremely easy-to-use device specially designed to treat victims of cardiac arrest in the first few minutes. In Spain, according to official data, there are approximately 30,000 deaths due to cardiac arrest per year, or 1 every 18 minutes. The various autonomous governments as well as the Ministries of Health recommend the installation of semi-automatic defibrillators in large public spaces to combat sudden death and possible brain damage resulting from cardiac arrest. It is estimated that between 60 and 80% of cases could be avoided if defibrillation was performed within the first 4 minutes. In Spain, the number of municipalities with defibrillators in their most populated areas as well as non-medical personnel trained in their use is growing.
